Free hosting service migration to DirectAdmin

All customers that have a free cPanel hosting service (including the £1 for life hosting) have been emailed regarding the migration to DirectAdmin. All customers that wish to continue using the free service must reply to that email or open a ticket to the sales team to confirm they wish to continue using the service. Please make sure to add the domain you wish to migrate.

The reason we can no longer provide free cPanel hosting is due to the changes made by cPanel with regards to their pricing model. We now have to pay cPanel for each cPanel account we host. You can find full details on our blog: https://blog.hostmedia.co.uk/2049/cpanel-price-increases/

The shut down of free cPanel hosting accounts will begin on the 23rd of August 2019, we will have a two step process for the shut down, first being a suspension of all free cPanel accounts followed deletions from the 30th of August onwards. You may see from the 23rd your free hosting listed as 'Terminated' in your client portal but this will only become true from the 30th. If you haven't already replied to the email regarding the shut down of the free service you can still reply to get your account migrated. If you have more than 1 free service with us please reply to each email so we can reference the accounts you wish to keep and move to DirectAdmin.
We recommend creating and downloading a full backup of your account even if you no longer require it.
